"I feel like I've tried most of the day spas and luxury spas in Los Angeles (and other cities for that matter) and honestly, most of the time it's just fluff but I don't really, truly feel pampered. This place was completely different in every way. They were friendly and helpful on the phone, helped me choose the right treatments, and never had any attitude, as mentioned by many other Citysearch users. That was so refreshing after being treated like a second-class citizen by many other places. The spa itself is small and private, with no crowded locker rooms or impersonal feeling. I was greeted warmly and genuinely, the lounge was really comfortable and had lots to keep me happy in between treatments, and above all my treatments were absolutely incredible. Everything was customized in my facial and my massage, and they really took the time to find out my concerns and goals for my skin as well as for my massage session. I've never felt treatments were personalized anywhere else, and after this visit I know how it feels to truly be looked after and pampered. I was so relaxed afterwards. This place is fantastic."

"I had a perfect experience getting a facial at Skin Haven. All my questions were answered on the phone in a friendly way, and from the minute I stepped into this beautiful studio, I felt at ease. It smelled great in reception and they gave me soft "spa socks" to wear during my visit which was great. My facialist went over the detailed form I filled out and we discussed my current home care, my concerns, and my goals and she customized the facial for me based on that conversation. She asked if I wanted to know what she was doing or just relax, which was nice. It was the ideal balance between knowing what was going on and really zoning out. The products were active and smelled delicious, and afterwards my skin was glowy, hydrated, and looked incredible. No redness, no welts, just amazing. I will be back and next time I am going to try a massage as well."

"I threw out my back on set so I called Skin Haven on the recommendation of one of the actors and they saved me! I had a deep tissue massage and went back a few days later for a Thai massage (they do the traditional type with the mat, just excellent) and all I can say is thank you. They were experienced, professional, personable, and great at their craft. Even though I was there for truly therapeutic treatments, the ambiance made me relaxed and comfortable. Definitely a great find. Loved the soft socks too."

"This place gives an amazing deep tissue massage. Most places advertise that they do deep tissue/sports massage but Skin Haven really knows what that means. I have had lots of massages and this one really made me feel taller, lighter, and invigorated yet relaxed. Being an athlete means that I need regular muscle and body work, and I loved everything about my time here. Already booked for next Sunday (they are open 7 days a week which is very helpful). I live in Santa Monica but it is well worth driving to, and they also do outcall massage so I can have them out to my home if I want, which is nice. Excellent quality work."

There were tons of great magazines for men and women, snacks and even chocolate, herbal iced and hot teas, relaxing couches and loungers, and pretty hip music that sounded Indian. "After researching spas on citysearch, I came across Skin Haven. Reading such highly recommended reviews really made me want to try it. I called to make an appointment and they were booked 2 months ahead for saturdays...! I finally got my facial yesterday and let me tell you, I was impressed. People love this place so much because different from your typical commercial spa. This spa is a small business run by two very amazing women who care very deeply about each and every client and the experience they have at Skin Haven. Their treatments are amazing, VERY effective, relaxing and long (75 full minutes!); and they don't pressure you to buy products. Skin Haven offers small-business charm, tons of personal attention and a zen atmosphere that (obviously) the majority of their clients adore. I can't say I know many people who care more about being able to pay gratuity on a credit card than about getting the most for their money."
